We will be located in the Val d'Orcia, between the major wine regions of Montalcino and Montepulciano.  The amazing B&B is as Tuscan as it gets, and offers private apartments with kitchens, a swimming pool, and many other features guaranteed to make this a charming and relaxing culinary getaway...and you get to cook with us!

Participation is limited to six so we can keep the experience very personal…and very unique!

Why We’re Unique…

We believe a week-long culinary workshop should provide you with information you can trust, new skills you will use and fond memories you will preserve for years to come…of course we’ll also be happy to add some laughter along the way!

We will draw upon our 5+ years of teaching experience and our Italian professional and educational knowledge to offer you a comprehensive introductory look into Italian food & wine culture. The small group environment will allow us to focus on offering personal and professional instruction, as well as taking care of individual needs as your hosts. We will continue to promote a fresh attitude and prepare everything we cook by hand using the freshest possible ingredients. Finally, since we are not bound to any sponsor obligations, you can be sure the information we present is independent and impartial.

Who Can Attend?

Our workshop will combine participation and demonstration techniques, and they will be presented in a manner comfortable to all skill levels. Anyone having a strong interest in Italian food & wine culture is welcome to attend…but, keep in mind we are limiting participation to six eager and willing learners.

More About the Location…

San Quirco is located in southern Tuscany – right in the heart of the famed wine regions that produce Brunello di Montalcino and Rosso di Montepulciano. The area boasts some of the best known landscape and views in all of Tuscany, rustic Etruscan cooking, handmade cheeses, premium olive oils and access to some of the world’s finest wines. It is just a short journey from our base at il Poggiolo into the magic of Tuscany.

The Fees Will Include…

  • 6 nights in a spacious apartment with a private bedroom, shared small kitchenette and bathroom, and a daily Italian breakfast
  • 5 day culinary workshop – includes cooking classes, wine class and local excursions
  • All food and beverages during classes
  • Documentation and Recipes
  • Transportation during excursions

What’s Not Included…

  • Travel to San Quirco in Tuscany (we can arrange for transportation from the nearby train station to il Poggiolo)
  • Meals and beverages outside of classes

Okay......sign me up. I mean, if I have to spend a week in Tuscany, learning new and different things, culinary and wine related, excursions and free time to lounge by the pool, I guess I might as well spend it with you. Love you!
